Camp Kiwanis- Girl Scouts of Central IL This 55 acre wooded site sits adjacent to Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve and is bordered by the Sangamon River. It is perfect for first time campers!

Day camps are perfect for girls that want to explore their interests, have fun with friends and learn new skills, while remaining close to home. Day camps are for girls in grades 1-5. Girls do not have to be a current Girl Scout to attend camp. Summer day camp allows girls a safe environment to learn new games, make arts and crafts, practice outdoor cooking skills, develop environmental awareness,

and, most of all, have fun with new friends. Day camp is the perfect starter camp for girls who want to get comfortable in the outdoors and who are interested in exploring new activities close to home.
