May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💜

At The Loved Ones Left Behind, we know healing doesn’t happen overnight. Grief, loss, trauma, anxiety, and heartbreak often live quietly behind the smiles people wear every day.

This month, we stand for the families learning to breathe again after unimaginable loss.
We stand for the conversations that are hard to have.
And we stand for reminding people that asking for help is strength …not weakness.

If you are struggling, grieving, overwhelmed, or carrying silent battles… please know you are not alone.

Together, we continue changing the narrative through love, community, support, and hope. 💜

We are still smiling over the 4th Annual Kentucky Derby Soirée at Houston Oaks Golf & Country Club. As we move through Mental Health Awareness Month, we are reminded why The Loved Ones Left Behind exists… to help families cope, heal, and help lift some of the emotional and financial burdens that come after unimaginable loss.

This organization has never just been about raising money… it’s about raising hope, restoring faith, creating community, and reminding people they are not alone. Watching everyone come together, hugging families, seeing the love from our sponsors, and the hearts of our attendees who give so big… it was truly incredible.💜

Because of all of you, we will continue to change the narrative, lead with compassion, and help families find joy again even after heartbreak. We are already looking forward to our September golf tournament at Houston Oaks and cannot wait to continue this mission together.
