Today we are celebrating Miller County which was formed 204 years ago. The stately Miller County Courthouse holds a great deal of early history of the county. The land on which the courthouse stands was sold to the county for a nominal consideration by the railroad on condition that it be used for a courthouse.

Journey to Success
Tyronda Scott followed her dream of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and with a desire to continue her education, enrolled and was accepted into the LPN to Registered Nursing (RN) transition program at SAU Tech.
Tyronda’s desire to become an RN was made possible by her determination to advance and with the assistance of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.
Kimberly Lanford, Career Planner with WIOA, assisted Tyronda with the process. Her dream of becoming an RN was realized in August of 2023.
To learn how this could be your story, contact your local WIOA representative.
