Stay safe out in this heat and stay hydrated!

🔥🏳️‍🌈It is almost time for South AR Pride and things are HOT out! With a high heat index expected for the event we has decided to not have the parade this year. While we are sad about the decision it is far more important that everyone stay safe.

☀️The festival itself is still happening, the stage has a small splash pad available and we will be doing out best to make sure there are means to cool down during the day. See you there!

Welcome August!! In addition to being time for back to school it also means it is almost time for South AR Pride !! We still have space for more vendors and want to see YOUR food truck and goods at our event!

💵Vender Registration is $50 for food-trucks and those making sales, $25 for those not making sales, free for non-profits, and pay-what-you-can for student organizations.

Nonbinary - shortened as ENBY - awareness and acceptance is vital. The world is a spectrum of color and the people who make it up are too.

To the parents, family, and friends that actively try: Thank You. For accepting the haircuts and styles, dressing in ways that may seem a bit odd, treating us as nonbinary even if we are dressed masculine or feminine, helping with name changes, even those that might seem like they aren’t real names, and generally just doing your best.

Maple Sap will be attending a meeting this weekend to hear back from the LGBTQ+ community in Texarkana and nearby areas. As we work to grow as a nonprofit and grow our yearly South AR Pride event we also hope to help have other events and gatherings for the q***r community.
