A huge thank you to and for funding this incredible project! This day would not have been possible without our wonderful Director, Mrs. Kathy Gean, our AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows, SAU Tech faculty and staff, students, Mulerider Athletics, Greek organizations, Feed the Funnel, and our amazing community members.
Thank you all for coming together for a day of service, kindness, and doing good in honor of those we lost on 9/11. 🇺🇸

Today, we remember September 11th and the lives forever impacted by that day. We honor the many American lives lost by coming together through service and giving back to our community. As part of our 9/11 Day of Service, our AmeriCorps VISTAs completed their first round of service by packaging 163 meals for the Mulerider Market. And we’re not stopping there!

On September 22nd, we will continue our service by packaging 25,000 meals for our Magnolia community and SAU campus. This project on 9/22 is made possible through and .
We invite students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community to join us at the Student Event Center from 10 AM–4 PM on 9/22 as we come together to package meals and make an impact.

Congratulations to Melissa Deleo, our August VISTA of the Month! 🎉

This month, Melissa has been hard at work supporting Club Sports by creating interest meeting flyers, developing team spotlight posts, creating a Trap Team rules and information slideshow, promoting events at the trap range, and researching opportunities to expand club sports at SAU. She has also helped research team merchandise and jerseys while preparing for the upcoming semester.

We’re proud of Melissa’s creativity, initiative, and dedication to making Club Sports better for our students. Congratulations, Melissa! 💙💛
