Magnolia Night of Prayer was an awesome time of worship and praise and prayer as we gathered as a community united.

The gathering began with Terre Albert, President of Southwest Montgomery County, Chamber of Commerce, welcoming everyone and the civic leaders and city leadership that were present.

Pastor Matt Geesaman, Hill City Church, framed the purpose of the gathering that is was not just an event but a moment for the Churches in Magnolia to come together in prayer and worship .

Pastor Chris Stone, Restoration Church Magnolia, led us in a prayer time, focusing on our inward hearts, then moving to our homes, marriages, families, and healing. We prayed for the Church (with capital C), praying for unity across churches in Magnolia and a shared sense of mission.

Pastor Derrick Drake, Collective Church, led the prayer time for Magnolia, starting with the people of our city, both those who are already here and those who are coming. We prayed for the next generation including schools, students, children, and educators. Leadership of every part of our local, state, and national were prayed over.

Pastor Adam Brock, Magnolia’s First Baptist Church, led the prayer for what God is doing in Magnolia to reach beyond here. We prayed for the nations and for the spread of the gospel beginning with each of us here in Magnolia.

The worship team included worship leaders from Magnolia’s First Baptist Church, the Ark Church Magnolia, Restoration Church, Collective Church, and The Crossing Church.

These praise and worship times centered on God‘s presence and unity, our response, and culminated with a unified faith-filled time of worship that brought everyone together, and sent us off with a sense of purpose.

God was definitely glorified as we worshiped, and prayed together with united hearts.

In a milestone year for the nation, local community leaders and residents will gather on Thursday, May 7, 2026, for the annual National Day of Prayer. The event will take place at Unity Park Pavillion, 19450 Unity Park Drive, Magnolia, Texas 77355.

Our local gathering will emphasize the theme “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations,” bringing people together to pray for leadership, families, and the community. Highlighting the 250th anniversary of the nation, the event will reflect on history while looking forward through prayerful unity.

The theme Bible verse is:
“Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” 1 Chronicles 16:24

We will pray for the seven centers of influence in our country: Family, Church, Education, Business, Media, Military, and our Government.

This gathering to pray is hosted by the Magnolia Pastors’ Council, Southwest Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, and Come to the Table, a local non-profit.

We invite everyone to join us in this historic year, let’s GLORIFY GOD AND SEEK HIM – TOGETHER!

We give thanks for the special time everyone enjoyed at the Thanksgiving Feast Come to the Table 2025! A huge THANK YOU to each volunteer who made this day happen where 300 Thanksgiving meals were served. Our volunteers with serving hearts and hands prepared the food, plated the food, served the food, hosted each table, helped with Kids Krafts, welcomed and seated our guests, and all the behind the scene work each one did. May God richly bless each of you for all you did! We thank you God, for our incredible Magnolia community and for providing this special meal together.
