🎄 Santa’s Workshop & Christmas Tree Lighting 🎄

Christmas on the Upper Ridge is a little more special when we get to celebrate it together.

Our annual Christmas Tree Lighting is a tradition that Magalia Community Park holds dear to our hearts, and we feel so blessed to continue it another year and spend this special time of the season with our community.

📅 Friday, December 4
⏰ 6:00 to 9:00 PM
📍 Magalia Community Center
13917 South Park at Andover

We’ll begin outside on the lawn with our Christmas Tree Lighting promptly at 6:00 PM. Gather around the tree with your family, friends, and neighbors as we light it together, sing Christmas carols, enjoy hot chocolate and apple c***r, and simply spend some time together. 🎄✨

After the tree lighting and caroling, we’ll head inside for Santa’s Workshop! The kids can decorate a cookie for Santa, make a Christmas tree ornament to take home, and cut out their own Christmas snowflakes. 🍪❄️🎨

All ages are welcome, so bundle up, bring the family, and come make some Christmas memories with us.

Want to be part of making this evening happen? We’d love to have a few more volunteers join us! We’ll need some helping hands at our crafting tables and throughout the evening. Events like this are possible because of the amazing people in our community who step up, give their time, and help us create something special for our families and kids.

If you’d like to volunteer, please reach out to the Magalia Community Center to sign up. We would love to have you!

📢 ON YOUR MARK…🏃

When we repurposed the Paradise Pines Golf Course for a new type of recreation, who would’ve thought we’d be hosting over 300 cross-country runners from throughout Butte County, organized through PUSD and Paradise Junior High! Amazing afternoon & huge shout out to Coach Mike, Larry Johnston, Paradise Police Department volunteers, and the South Pines Disc Golf players committee and commissioner Jake Bates for making things all go smooth.

Attention all past visitors, ghosts and goblins at Magalia Community Park’s Halloween Fest: due to the community center being used for an important service - Magalia’s official early voting precinct - we are relocating the trunk or treat & games to the POA Village on Wycliff, just a short distance away. They’ve been holding Halloween events for years and we appreciate them accommodating us to make this an even bigger event for the Upper Ridge. We look forward to seeing you there on the 31st!
