It’s time to elect our VFW Auxiliary officers for the coming year. Join us on Tuesday, April 14th, at 6:00 pm to cast your vote.

Officer descriptions and duties:
* President: Presides over meetings, ensures the Auxiliary is "healthy," and inspires and motivates members.
* Senior Vice-President: Assists the President, presides over meetings in the President's absence, and helps with various duties.
* Junior Vice-President: Assists the President and Senior Vice-President, presides over meetings when both are absent, and assists with tasks.
* Secretary (selected by the President): Keeps records of meetings, manages official communication, and handles correspondence.
* Treasurer: Handles all Auxiliary money, maintains banking records, and ensures financial accountability.
* Chaplain: Leads the Auxiliary in prayer and provides spiritual guidance.
* Conductor/Conductress: Assists with the smooth running of meetings and events, and may have other duties.
* Guard: Maintains order and security during meetings and events.
* Patriotic Instructor: Focuses on promoting patriotism and civic engagement.
* Trustees (3 year position): Responsible for auditing the accounts of committees, officers, and members, and performing other duties as directed by the Auxiliary.
* Other Officers: Depending on the needs of the local Auxiliary, other positions may include Color Bearers, Flag Bearers, Banner Bearers, and Historian.
