You might be asking, what is Impact Mentoring?

Impact Mentoring is a local non-profit organization formerly known as Big Brothers Big Sisters, located in Madisonville, Kentucky. Since 1982, our mentoring program has served at-risk and underprivileged children in our community through our commitment of "Changing young lives, one match at a time." To continue to carry on our mission of building strong, trusting, and caring relationships that result in a positive impact on the lives of these children, we need your support.

Impact Mentoring is hosting the first Jolly Jingle Mingle on December 9th from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at 𝐌𝐚𝐑𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐀. Please join us and enjoy food provided by π’π°πšπ π π² 𝐏'𝐬 𝐁𝐁𝐐 & π‚πšπ­πžπ«π’π§π , take a stroll through the beautifully decorated Christmas trees, bid on some amazing Silent Auction items, and listen to the sweet sounds of the MNHHS and HCCHS Choirs. Also, π’π‘πž 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐈𝐭 will be on-site for the evening to fulfill any of your warm drink needs. Get your tickets now and join in on this Jolly Good Time!

Dear Friends:

In January, 2019 Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Hopkins and Muhlenberg Counties transitioned to a fully independent local nonprofit named Impact Mentoring Inc. The organizational standards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America have changed, and has greatly affected the smaller affiliate agencies. Our agency wants to keep meeting the needs of the community and its children. We depend on local support and grant funding to maintain programming for the families we serve. The Board of Directors is motivated to move forward and effective January 1, 2019, our name changed to Impact Mentoring Inc. The catch slogan is now, β€œChanging Young Lives One Match at a Time”.

Impact Mentoring will continue to provide the same vital one on one mentoring to our youth, who need it the most and maintain our current non-profit status. We have recently changed our name with the Federal and state government organizations. This took longer than necessary due to the government shutdown. We are still open and currently looking for volunteers. We look forward to serving this community for years to come. For more information, please contact our office at (270) 821-0688.
