MONROE COUNTY PARENTS‼️

Did you know your child can receive a FREE book in the mail every single month thanks to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library?

This amazing program was started right here in East Tennessee by Dolly Parton in 1995, with one simple goal: to help children fall in love with reading from an early age.

Many do not realize what this program or what it offers.

⚫️ A completely FREE book gifting program
⚫️ Open to all children from birth to age 5
⚫️ Each child receives a high-quality, age-appropriate book every month
⚫️ Books are mailed directly to your home with your child’s name on them.

By the time your child starts kindergarten, they could have a library of 60 books of their very own!

Early reading makes a HUGE difference. Children who are introduced to books early are more likely to succeed in school and beyond.

This program helps:
✔️ Build early literacy skills
✔️ Encourage a love of reading
✔️ Create special moments between parents and children

If you are uncomfortable using your personal address reach out to a local church. Often times they will allow you to use their address and pick up your books monthly.

Monroe County Imagination Library was honored to present at the Monroe County Retired Teachers monthly meeting on April 27.
We are grateful for retired educators who continue to care deeply about children, reading, and the future of Monroe County. Thank you for allowing us to share how Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is putting free books into the hands of local children from birth to age five.
