🎀💗 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS — DAY 13

🎀 HEY, HEY, HEEEEY! IT'S DAY 13! AND WE'RE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT! 🎀💗
Today we're bringing the facts, the awareness, the encouragement, and the REAL TALK!
Because breast cancer awareness is more than wearing pink. It's about knowing your body, speaking up, getting screened, supporting women, and refusing to let fear keep you from taking care of yourself.
💗 TODAY'S BREAST CANCER FACTS
🎀 FACT #1: You can have breast cancer without feeling a lump. Some breast cancers are detected on a mammogram before symptoms appear.
🎀 FACT #2: A lump isn't the only warning sign. Changes in breast size or shape, skin dimpling, ni**le changes, unusual discharge, redness, or swelling can also be signs that need medical attention.
🎀 FACT #3: Most breast lumps are NOT cancer. But every new or unusual breast change deserves attention from a healthcare professional.
🎀 FACT #4: Breast cancer can affect men, too. Although it is much less common in men, they should not ignore a new breast lump or other unusual changes.
🎀 FACT #5: Early detection matters! Mammograms can find breast cancer before it becomes large enough to feel. Talk with your healthcare provider about the screening schedule that's right for you.
💗 LET'S TALK ABOUT IT!
To the woman currently fighting: Keep asking questions. Keep advocating for yourself. Allow people to love on you, and remember that you do not have to be strong every single minute.
To the survivor: Your life is more than your diagnosis. Your scars do not diminish your beauty, and your story may give another woman hope.
To the woman who has never had a mammogram: Don't keep putting it off. Make that appointment and take care of YOU!
To the woman who has lost someone to breast cancer: We see you, too. Awareness can bring up grief, memories, and emotions that others may never understand.
🎀 FROM ONE SURVIVOR TO ANOTHER WOMAN:
I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 11/11/11. I had a lumpectomy, radiation, and Herceptin chemotherapy.
I know what it means to walk through a cancer diagnosis. I know that this journey affects more than your body. It can touch your emotions, your family, your faith, and the way you see life.
But here I am, still sharing, still encouraging, and still reminding women that their health matters!
I'm not sharing my story because every journey is the same. I'm sharing it because someone needs to know that she is not alone.
🙏🏽 TODAY'S PRAYER
Heavenly Father, cover every woman facing breast cancer today. Strengthen those in treatment, comfort those who are afraid, guide the doctors and nurses, and surround caregivers with strength. Bring peace to survivors and comfort to families who are grieving. Give every woman the courage to speak up, seek care, and receive support. Lord, remind us that even in uncertain seasons, we are never beyond Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen. ❤️

Check on your sisters. Encourage your mothers. Love on your daughters. Support your friends. And please, take care of yourself, too!
