☀️Great news--The Splash Pad at Engleman Park is now open for the season! BIG thanks to City of Sweetwater Parks & Recreation employees Will Vineyard, Will Dyer and Parks & Rec Director Eddie Thompson for all the hard work getting the splash pad open and ready for the year. It took extra servicing and maintenance this year and we are so appreciative of their efforts.

⏰Splash Pad hours are 8 AM to 8 PM daily.

Honored and grateful to have been selected as a presenter for the 2026 Paths to Recovery Conference! After attending this impactful conference last year, we were inspired by the passion and dedication of the many professionals and advocates working to strengthen prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery efforts across our communities.

This year, we were proud to be invited to submit a presenter proposal and even more excited to be selected to present our session:

“Turning Community Needs into Action: Rural Solutions for Prevention, Access & Recovery.”

Thank you to coalition champion Gabbie McConkey at the Monroe County Prevention & Wellness Coalition for co-presenting and to the beautiful Kate Parsons and the Hamilton County Coalition for the opportunity to share the work being done in Monroe County. A special shoutout to Mikaela McConkey, MCHC/PWC Outreach Laison for her support and assistance!! We were glad to contribute to the important conversations being led over the course of the conference, specifically regarding efforts in rural areas. We had a great time connecting, learning, and collaborating with all of the other attendees and presenters who are passionate about building healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities! We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
