Sunday Sermon Recap!
Dismantle Division. Develop Diciples. Be a Witness. Be a Missionary.

10/05/2026

Acts 1:8 states, "...you will be my WITNESSES..." The church has a mission. This is our daily duty! God gives us super natural power to fulfill our God-given mission - to declare Jesus Christ as savior and Lord throughout the whole world. We are given the Holy Spirit to empower us for His work. It's time to move beyond our emotions and into our mission...to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the Earth.

See Acts 4:20... Are we that compelled? Are we that passionate? Shall we stay on mission in the midst of persecution?

Witnessed = They told others what they experienced

They gospel is a movement from our hearts, to our neighbors and to the world.

The place where you are presently is where you are on mission. Being the church = being on mission.

Take a moment today to join us in prayer for our neighbors here in Madisonville! 🙏

"I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, 'There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. 6 He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.'" - 2 Timothy 1-6 NLT

✨Ministry Spotlight✨ Meet the wonderful team who makes our van ministry possible! We so appreciate Marty, Kay, Aretha, Shaleakah, Ty, Stephen, Isaac, Pastor Jon, and everyone else who step up to serve our local community. Without this team, our student ministries wouldn't be possible. We are so grateful for all the time and effort being sown into the kingdom each and every week. 💙
