Inspired by Misty's daughter, Lexi, and her courageous battle with leukemia, these women were determined to make a difference...but how? After much prayer and consideration, it was decided that Team Lexi's focus would be giving children with cancer one special evening to dance, play, laugh, and be a kid. Although money is raised and donated to the families, Team Lexi's focus remains on the child a
nd giving them one evening to forget about being sick. Thanks to our many dedicated volunteers and sponsors, we are able to honor one child from Monroe County (or surrounding areas) at a time. Each stitch held into place with the determination and dedication we give. Our quilt is growing larger, our family getting bigger, wrapped in our endless blanket of love, while we, Team Lexi, make dreams come true-one child at a time.
