A big thank you to the Tennessee Arts Commission for bringing their grant workshop to Chattanooga this morning!

MACA appreciated the opportunity to connect with Commission staff, learn about upcoming grant opportunities, and gain valuable tips for submitting strong grant applications.

And what a wonderful setting at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center, celebrating the rich history of arts and music in Tennessee!

Thank you for your continued support of arts organizations and for helping us bring creative opportunities to our communities! 💚

We're excited to share a little sneak peek of more public art coming to Monroe County! Talented mural artist Megan Lingerfelt, whose work you may recognize from downtown Sweetwater, is bringing her creativity to Tellico Plains Visit Tellico Plains, TN. With a little help from her husband, she's already making progress. The water tower is just the beginning!

We love seeing public art bring creativity, character, and a sense of community pride to our Monroe County towns.

Stay tuned as this beautiful new mural comes to life. We can't wait to share more!!

What a wonderful day of creativity at yesterday's MACA Acrylic Painting Class at the Tellico Plains Christian Fellowship Church.

Thank you Ms. Veronica for creating an opportunity for participants to explore their creativity, learn new skills, and connect with others through art. We loved hearing from one participant how much she appreciates Veronica's encouragement and enthusiasm, and the friendships she's made through these classes.

We are grateful to the Tennessee Arts Commission for funding this free community arts class.
