e, we will move the meeting to the Kimbro Convention Center, on the Courthouse Square. In recent years, a revitalization and cleanup effort has been underway at the Madisonville Cemetery, located off of W Trinity Street. A new Board of Directors was created and they are seeking input, volunteers and donations to help in that ongoing effort. All of these efforts are driven by a love and respect for those people who have gone before us and a love for our community. Please join us as we try to continue this effort.

Come join us on April 11 for the 2026 Madisonville Cemetery Association Annual Membership meeting. The meeting will be held on April 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Our plans are to hold the meeting in the cemetery, at the chapel. However, in case of rain, our “back-up plan” is to move the meeting to Wesley Hall, located on the west side of the First Methodist Church.
If the weather cooperates, we’ll see you in the cemetery…otherwise, we will be at Wesley Hall. We hope to see you there.

From the Revolutionary War to present day conflicts, our veterans are devoted sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers. They come from all backgrounds in life to place those lives on the line for our freedoms. There are millions of individual stories to tell.

While we have Veterans Day in the fall and Memorial Day in the spring, our servicemen and women sacrifice their time and safety every single day of the year, to preserve our freedoms. In many American homes, every day there is an empty seat for one who is serving or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and never came home.

When a volunteer places a wreath on a veteran's grave on National Wreaths Across America Day, we encourage them to speak that veteran's name aloud, thank them for their service and sacrifice, and reflect on that person and their life. Wreaths Across America shows our veterans and their families that we will not forget—we will never forget.

Please consider joining us this at 10:00 AM, this Saturday, December 13, 2025, to help place the beautiful fresh balsam wreaths on each of our veteran's graves. We will gather at the chapel, in the southern part of the cemetery. We hope to see you there!
