Summer group season is here, and we are so grateful for every team that visits Mi Esperanza!
From learning about our ministry to shopping in our fair-wage artisan shop, each visit creates a meaningful impact. We love welcoming people from across the USA and beyond and sharing the stories of the women whose lives are being transformed through opportunity, dignity, and hope.

“God, how am I going to change our life?”
That was the question on Gabriela Sevilla’s heart. A wife and mother of two living in Aldea El Lolo, Honduras, she and her husband owned a house that had fallen into such disrepair they couldn’t live in it, and the cost of renting a home kept them from being able to fix the one they owned.
Then came one step, and another. In August 2012, Gabriela graduated from the Mi Esperanza Beauty School and immediately opened a salon out of her rented home. In October 2013, she took out her first microfinance loan to invest in equipment, supplies, and renovations, and she paid it back in full, on time, with no late payments. A second loan in June 2014 helped her keep building.
Today, Gabriela serves as a motivational speaker at Mi Esperanza, mentoring the next generation of students and pouring back into the program that transformed her family’s future.

New designs are coming! ✨

Our designers have been hard at work for months creating the new 2026/2027 collection, and the first arrivals will be dropping in our onsite store in the coming weeks! We can’t wait for you to see what’s new.

As always, every product is female-designed and handmade by female artisans empowered through a living wage. Every purchase also supports Mi Esperanza's ongoing programs — helping provide education, childcare, mentorship, and opportunities for women to build brighter futures.

We look forward to seeing all our summer visitors! Not coming to Honduras, no worries, our new products will be available in the States by the end of summer.
