EVERYONE HOLD ON… because you’re about to meet one of the CUTEST chunky monkeys around!

Meet Ella! Just look at that smile!

Ella came to us as a stray and, once again, she was not microchipped and no one came looking for her. Now this sweet girl is ready for her next chapter—and we want it to be the very best one.

Ella is estimated to be around 7–8 years old. She has had an injury to one of her eyes and does have some vision issues, but don’t think for a second that slows her down! Her nose works just fine, and she is more than happy to use it to investigate everything around her, and if there’s a person nearby? Ella wants to meet them!

This girl has personality, quirks, and plenty of uniqueness—and she deserves a family who will love every single bit of her.

Ella may be a little older. She may see the world a little differently. But she still has so much love to give and deserves the chance to spend her years ahead knowing what it means to be truly HOME.

Come meet this adorable chunky monkey for yourself. We have a feeling she might just steal your heart!

MEET SERSI!

Meet Sersi, a sweet little girl who came to us as a stray and is now ready to find a family of her very own!

We estimate this beautiful Shepherd mix to be around 4–6 months old, which means she is still very much a puppy! Sersi is playful, curious, and wants ALL the love and attention she can get.

Like any puppy, Sersi will need time, patience, love, and consistency as she learns how to navigate life in a home. There will be things to learn, boundaries to understand, and probably a little puppy mischief along the way—but watching her grow into an amazing companion will be worth it!

If you’ve been thinking about adding a puppy to your family, Sersi may just be your girl!

MEET BRENDA!

Just look at this beautiful girl! ❤

Brenda is a gorgeous brindle Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray. Sadly, no one has come looking for her, so now it’s time to help Brenda find the forever family she deserves.

Brenda is estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs in at an impressive 89 pounds—she’s a big girl with a gentle spirit!

Right now, Brenda is calm and seems a little overwhelmed by shelter life. We have a feeling she may have been a house dog before coming to us. Even with her size, she is doing a wonderful job keeping her kennel clean.

When we took Brenda outside for her pictures, she did wonderfully on the leash. She was easy to walk and seemed happy to have a little break from the sights and sounds of the shelter.

We would LOVE to see Brenda break out of here and into a home where she can settle in, feel safe, and know that this time, she is home forever.

ZEKE UPDATE… AND IT’S A BIG ONE!

We are SO excited to announce that Zeke has an APPROVED ADOPTER!

She went yesterday to spend some time with Zeke, get to know him, and see that amazing boy we have all come to love…and she is in love!

Our longest resident has waited patiently for his person. He’s had a couple of bumps along the way, but thanks to the incredible opportunity he received with Universal K9, Zeke has been able to show everyone just how smart, capable, and AMAZING shelter dogs can be when they are given the right guidance and opportunity.

And now, Zeke is getting his chance.

We truly believe he is going to an absolutely amazing home, and we could not be more excited for him!

Thank you to everyone who has shared Zeke’s posts, followed his journey, cheered him on, and helped us tell his story. And a HUGE thank you to Universal K9 for believing in our boy and helping him prepare for this next chapter.

Stay tuned…because we can’t wait to share Zeke’s official adoption and freedom ride!
