Today we share some bittersweet news with our Lancaster Elementary family.
Mr. Ben Strohl has been selected to serve as the Acting Principal of Lyon Elementary. While we are incredibly excited for him and this well-deserved opportunity, we will miss him tremendously.
Over the years, Mr. Strohl has become a beloved part of the LES family. He has been a mentor, a role model, a problem solver, and a steady source of encouragement for students, staff, and families alike. His servant leadership, positive attitude, and genuine care for others have left a lasting mark on our school community.
We will miss seeing him in the Sea Turtle costume, hearing his booming voice echo through the hallways, and watching him connect with students in a way that made each child feel seen and valued.
While it is hard to say goodbye, we know great leaders are often called where they are needed most. Lyon Elementary is gaining an exceptional principal, and we know Mr. Strohl will make a tremendous impact there.
Thank you, Mr. Strohl, for the time, heart, and leadership you’ve poured into Lancaster Elementary. We are proud of you, grateful for you, and cheering you on as you begin this new chapter.
💚🐢 Once a Sea Turtle, always a Sea Turtle. Congratulations, Mr. Strohl! 🦁💙
