Cleaning up along the river in Tellico! And it was not an easy task. Our favorite part about days like this is the kids going home knowing that yes, the work was hard, but, they completed it and can be proud of the work that they did!

From June 7–13, several of our youth successfully completed the Summer Work Camp program at Indian Boundary. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who took the time to provide meals, share their knowledge, and invest in our youth throughout the week. Your support and presence made a meaningful impact.

During the program, participants demonstrated dedication and teamwork as they cleared trails, maintained facilities, removed trash and debris, split wood, and completed numerous other projects throughout the camp. Beyond their hard work, they built positive relationships with their peers and staff while developing valuable life and work skills.

We are incredibly proud of all they accomplished and the effort they put forth. We hope the lessons, experiences, and skills gained during this program will continue to serve them well as they move forward into adulthood.

🌟 Building stronger futures, together. 🌟

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Monroe County Juvenile Services during their Juvenile Summer Work Camp! Through a simple yarn activity, participants explored how relationships, support systems, and community connections help shape our lives.

A big thank you to Monroe County Juvenile Services for welcoming CASA Monroe and allowing us to invest in the youth of our community. ❤️

Happy Birthday Judge Thomas!!!

Today, we took some of our youth to the Indian Boundary campground to help put up our military grade tents for another year of our Juvenile Summer Work Camp. We took a little time lapse video showing the work being done. Judge Thomas and staff worked alongside these guys as they got to use their strength 💪 and learn/practice team work, driving in stakes, assembling, and problem solving! They did a great job and worked hard!
