MYC's Alumni Sing is just over a month away, on Saturday, July 18 from 10am-12pm at MYArts-Madison Youth Arts Center!

All alumni of MYC, Madison Children's Choir, and Madison Boychoir are invited to attend. We'll catch up over coffee and bagels and sing a selection of your favorite choral pieces from years past (be sure to add your suggestions in the RSVP form).

There's Still Time to Sign Up for MYC Summer Classes - But Act Fast!

While our Introductory Choir classes are full for the summer, spaces are still available for many of our MYC summer music classes for elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as future music educators in college.

NEW THIS YEAR:
A Capella Singing / Arranging (limited spots remaining)
(for rising 8th graders through graduated seniors)

MYC is honored to be among the many local artists performing in Madison Symphony Orchestra's free Centennial Festival this weekend! Our Cantabile and Ragazzi choirs will sing on Sunday, June 14 from 10:30am-11:15am in the Overture Hall Lobby at Overture Center for the Arts.

Performing with Maestro John DeMain at the Madison Symphony Orchestra Christmas concerts is always among our singers' favorite experiences of their time in MYC.

We're looking forward to sharing current and former singers' special memories of working with this Madison music legend when we honor Maestro DeMain with the Carrel Pray Music Educator of the Year Award this Sunday, May 17 at the Cantilena, Cantabile, and Ragazzi concert at 7:30pm.

MYC is proud to announce that the 2026 Carrel Pray Music Educator of the Year Award will be presented to Maestro John DeMain at MYC's Spring Concert Series, "In Other Works".

Named in honor of Carrel Pray, founder of Madison Boychoir, the award annually recognizes an individual in our community who has made a significant contribution to music education and/or has been especially supportive of MYC and its programs.

Maestro DeMain has served as music director of Madison Symphony Orchestra for more than 30 years, and several generations of our singers have had the unforgettable experience of performing under his baton in A Madison Symphony Christmas, many Madison Opera productions, and special MSO experiences like Carmina Burana and Mahler's "Symphony of a Thousand."

We invite you to be part of the audience for this special award presentation during Cantilena, Cantabile, and Ragazzi's spring concert at 7:30pm on Sunday, May 17 at Verona High School Performing Arts Center.

Did you know that all alumni of Madison Children's Choir, Madison Boychoir, and Madison Youth Choirs can attend MYC's Spring Concert Series, on Sunday, May 17 for FREE?

Each alum can order a free ticket either online through the ticket portal at https://www.madisonyouthchoirs.org/tickets (look for the "Alumni or Music Educator Tickets" heading) or by checking in at the ticket table on the day of the concert at the Verona High School Performing Arts Center.

At the 7:30pm concert, alumni will also be invited on stage to sing "Now I Walk in Beauty" with Ragazzi or "Sisters, Now Our Meeting is Over" with Cantabile.

If you can't make it to the concert, we still hope to see you at the MYC Alumni Sing on Saturday, July 18 at MYArts! RSVP at https://forms.gle/BCpGvv1w4EAfgrdx7
