❤️ Madison Shows Its Heart! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Kyle Becker and the American Red Cross for another incredibly successful blood drive on August 18th at the Madison YMCA!

Kyle, an invaluable member of the Madison Rotary Club, has organized this annual blood drive year after year—and the results continue to be amazing. This year, the Madison community blew past its goal of 30 pints, collecting an incredible 51 pints—167% of our goal! 🩸👏

Kudos to everyone who stepped up to the plate to donate and help save lives. A special thank you to everyone who registered in advance, as well as all of the wonderful walk-ins who came out to support this important cause.

This is what community is all about—neighbors helping neighbors and coming together to make a real difference. ❤️

Thank you, Madison, for once again showing why this is one of the best places to live!

🍽️ Serving Our Community, One Meal at a Time ❤️

On Wednesday, August 5, members of the Madison Rotary Club proudly purchased, prepared, and served dinner to 55 residents at Homeless Solutions Inc.'s Main Shelter in Morristown.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteer team—Stef Codey, Lisa Scanlon-Lill, Laura and Paul Lemaire, and Curt Beaudouin—who served up a delicious menu of Italian hot dogs with peppers and onions, crispy French fries, and cake. Judging by the smiles and empty plates, everything was enjoyed with great relish (pun intended! 🌭😊).

We are grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors and make a small difference through fellowship and service.

📅 Our next dinner service at the Homeless Solutions Main Shelter will be Wednesday, October 7. We look forward to serving again!

🌟 Congratulations to Our New Paul Harris Fellows! 🌟

At our July 23 meeting, Madison Rotary Club President John Hogan proudly presented Paul Lemaire and Jeff Kraft with Paul Harris Fellow awards in recognition of their ongoing commitment and generous contributions to The Rotary Foundation.

The Paul Harris Fellow is one of Rotary's highest honors, celebrating individuals whose dedication helps advance Rotary's mission of Service Above Self. Through the support of Rotarians around the world, The Rotary Foundation funds life-changing humanitarian projects that improve health, promote peace, support education, provide clean water and sanitation, strengthen local economies, and protect the environment.

One of the Foundation's most remarkable achievements has been leading the global effort to eradicate polio—a decades-long campaign that has reduced cases by more than 99.9%, bringing the world closer than ever to ending this devastating disease.

Congratulations, Paul and Jeff, and thank you for your continued generosity and service. Your dedication is making a lasting impact both in our community and around the world.

What a wonderful evening celebrating another successful year at our Rotary Installation Dinner!

A heartfelt thank you to John Hogan for his outstanding leadership in organizing such a memorable event. It was an evening filled with great fellowship, delicious food, a beautiful venue—and yes, we even managed to take care of a little official Rotary business!

As we welcomed our 2026–2027 Board of Directors, we also took time to recognize and thank those whose Board service has come to an end. Our sincere appreciation goes to Art Powell, Lois Bhatt, Amul Modhera, Pat Miller, and Kyle Becker for their dedication, leadership, and many contributions to our club. While their official Board roles may have concluded, we know they will continue to make a meaningful impact through their ongoing service.

Although David Duran, Carol Martorana, and Paul Saccone were unable to attend the dinner, we look forward to their continued leadership and positive contributions as members of this year's Board.

A special thank you also goes to Tanya Van Order for her service as Recording Secretary and Trustee-at-Large, as well as for her continued leadership of our Laws of Life Essay Review program.

Congratulations to our incoming Board, and thank you to Jeannie Tsukamoto for officially installing our 2026–2027 leadership team. Here's to another year of "Service Above Self" and making a positive difference in our community!
