National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is the premier youth leadership training for Scouting America and is being offered August 2-7 at Ed Bryant Scout Reservation.

Rock River units had a great time fishing with the public during the DNR free fishing weekend. We held booths in Jefferson and Whitewater where a total of over 200 kids went fishing! Make sure to check these opportunities out to recruit! Big thank you to Pack 225 and Troop 147

Today we casted our line out to The Gathering Place Fishing Club in Milton to present the state of Scouting and let them know about the units participating in WI DNR Free Fishing day in Jefferson, Janesville, Whitewater, and wherever your unit wants to fish on 6/6!

Rock River District is kicking things off for year round recruitment. We had booths at the Fort Atkinson Youth Baseball tourney and at the Janesville Edison Middle School last week. Help let us know where else we can help with recruiting by contacting your district team!

Last Saturday, many Cub Scouts had a blast using bows, slingshots, and more. A lot of them did it for their first time! Thank you to everyone who attended, and thank you to Beloit Riffle Club for the amazing venue!

We are thrilled to help spread the word of the upcoming wedding of two remarkable Eagle Scouts from Milton. Aurora & Christopher have continued with the program as adults and have transitioned into dedicated cub scout den leaders. Their commitment to leadership in the community is truly inspiring, and their story highlights the lasting impact of the Scouting program—not only in developing leaders, but in creating lifelong connections rooted in service. Join us in congratulating them on this beautiful new chapter in their lives!
