The world is full of sadness and sorrow caused by people and nature. Despite all those calamities that strike the majority of the voiceless and weak people, there are men and women who are compulsively driven by a desire to do good around them and anywhere they can. The world is truly blessed by the kind and good hearted people who care for the well-being of the poor and voiceless. Those good hear
ted and caring people, all over the world, are always doing their best possible for everybody to be able to fulfill their dream, no matter what their place and condition of birth might be. Those good people deserve encouragement so they can keep up the good work. We believe in inspiring people, helping them to reach their goals. We believe that this world can be a safe place for every human being. We believe people’s well-being is not just a vain word, but truly a possibility. We believe in the associative spirit that can empower people, and mostly children, to strive for not only the betterment, but also the desire to go beyond their handicaps or social living conditions. This is the kind of spirit we are promoting as a Non-Governmental Organization. Empowering all children, and specially those born in the Western Africa prison facilities where for the most part, they are rejected, and therefore not integrated into safe families, is our fight. Experience has proven that neglected children, when left with no protection and guidance, try to create their own world, and to make do with what they have. And as a result, they become gangsters, arm robbers, thieves, and the list goes on. This is certainly not what children deserve. When nothing is done to assist and help those children, breaking the law seems to be the only way they can survive out there. And this obviously will send them to prison, where most of them were born due to their parents being in those correctional facilities. This kind of injustice is all over the world. But our focus is now turned to a West African country-The Ivory Coast- where those injustices are taking place even now. Our intention is far from discrediting or putting the blame on any individual, group, or government. We just thought and realized it is time for each and every one of us to invest some of our care and attention into those poor children. This will be tremendously beneficial to all the children born in the Ivory Coast prison facilities and elsewhere. It is our belief that all children, no matter their origin or race, deserve our care and protection, we believe they deserve a special attention and above all good treatment. It is true that all kids cannot have exactly the same privileges, for the world is by essence different from one place to the other, due to cultural and geographical differences. But we want to plead for the minimum for those poor and voiceless children. We want to believe that they deserve that minimum. Unfortunately, all they can see is far from hope. And this brings us to ask the following questions:
1.) Are those children destined to remain in prison because of they being born to incarcerated mothers? Is the prison facilities or the street what they deserve?
2.) Will we close our eyes on them because of their place of birth?
3.) What can we do together to help them fulfill their dreams?
4.) How long are we going to keep silent on the atrocities to innocent children? We know they don’t deserve to be on the street, and so when are we going to find them a suitable shelter and protection? All these irresponsible treatments call for our attention. Therefore, let us stand as one against the poor and unacceptable conditions those children go through day and night. Let us stand against the abuses and daily torture those children have come to think it is normal. We can stand for the good, for that will give them some hope. They don’t deserve to stay in those prison facilities because of their incarcerated mothers. They deserve better. And together we can make that happen! WHAT WE DO
We seek all kind of help and donation around the world and send them to the children born and raised behind bars, or those experiencing homelessness in West Africa. Those donations are mostly oriented toward buying food, clothing, books, and educational toys. Through our local and international partners, we will provide special healthcare facilities, such as a children’s hospital, and we will make sure that they get a good social integration via new school buildings or adoptive families. HOW WE DO
We collect all sorts of gifts from donors, we store and ship them anywhere in West Africa, where children are in need. Once the goods collected, we coordinate the shipping with our local partners. Then on site, our local partners will convey the goods to their designated destinations. Afterward, a report will be send to the donors, with the signatures and picture of each recipient and their leaders. Moreover, the board members will be on site, should there be the need.
