🍂 Fall is a great time to learn to skate!

Registration is open for September and October Learn to Skate classes at Hartmeyer Ice Arena. Classes are held Wednesday evenings from Sept. 9 through Oct. 28, with two convenient time options:

⛸️ 6:30–7:05 p.m.
⛸️ 7:10–7:45 p.m.

Whether your skater is stepping onto the ice for the first time or continuing to build confidence and skills, we’d love to see them at Hartmeyer!

🔧 BEHIND THE SCENES: IMPORTANT UPGRADES AT HARTMEYER 🔧

This summer, Hartmeyer Ice Arena completed two important mechanical upgrades that will improve efficiency and reliability for years to come.

🔥 New Water Heating System
On July 8, Hartmeyer lost its only source of hot water for the Zamboni, locker room showers, and sinks. Working with RHD Plumbing, Heating and Remodeling Inc., we installed two new water heaters with built-in redundancy.

🚿 The new system provides plenty of hot water for the Zamboni and locker rooms — and if one unit needs service, the other can keep operating.

💧 New Water Softeners
We also installed two new water softeners that supply the chiller tower. Softened water helps prevent lime-scale buildup, improving refrigeration efficiency, reducing maintenance, and extending the life of the equipment.

⚙️ These aren't upgrades you necessarily see when you walk through the doors, but they're critical investments in Hartmeyer's future.
