✨ We are absolutely thrilled! ✨
The March issue of Vicinity Magazine is out and our Madison Area AAUW branch is featured in the “Local Heroes” section! And honestly, that is exactly how we feel about the incredible women in our community. 💚
They covered it all! From STEM programs for young girls, to scholarships, to gathering over a good book (or a Mahjongg game 😄).

A huge thank you to Vicinity Magazine and writer Jackie Schatell for shining a spotlight on our branch. We’re so grateful.

If you’ve ever been curious about what AAUW is all about — this is a great read. And if you feel like joining a group of women who show up for each other and for the next generation, we’d love to have you. 💛

We’ve made the news! 🎉

Our Speed Dating in STEM event was featured locally, and we couldn’t be more excited celebrating Women's History Month with this program.

Hosted by the Madison Area AAUW, this event connects 7th–12th grade girls with real women working and studying in STEM fields through small-group conversations. It’s inspiring and it makes STEM careers feel real and attainable.

Female College students in STEM: Come to network, share your journey with the younger students, and mentor the next generation.

Parents of 7th–12th grade girls: If your daughter is curious about science, technology, engineering, or math (or even unsure!), this is a wonderful way to explore possibilities in a supportive space.

Let’s keep building the pipeline of confident young women in STEM.

Register, share, and help us spread the word!

It's free - please register because space is limited https://forms.gle/yfx4LA937XceYqYE9 or message me
