Community! Our transition to our new space is nearly complete but there are a few items we cannot take with us!

We have a few very nice items available to re-home:

1. Custom made welcome desk, solid two tone wood — needs a minor front facade repair.

2. 5 IKEA corner desks (pics show the style of desk)

Items would need to be picked up by or before next week Tuesday, June 30th at our old west side office.

If interested, please inbox us ASAP on Facebook or email at [email protected] !

🎗️✨ It's National Cancer Survivors Month! ✨🎗️

Join us for a special evening of connection, celebration and inspiration as we honor the thrivers and survivors who are walking this journey, one step at a time.

Whether you're newly diagnosed or years into your journey of survivorship, come to share your experience, connect with fellow thrivers, celebrate how far you've come and build hope in community.

Register today at ffbww.org/cancerthrivers, if you haven't already, or invite a friend who would benefit from joining the circle! We look forward to celebrating with you!

Community, join us in congratulating Team Member Natasha Watkins on her 1-year Anniversary!

Natasha’s first year with the Foundation for Black Women's Wellness has been filled with growth, teamwork and meaningful collaboration! As our Manager of Community Health Services, Natasha leads our Community Health Worker Team that serves women and families across 23 Dane County zip codes to meet their health and social needs, with significant work to help the most vulnerable women we serve to achieve stability in housing, transportation, income, employment, and healthcare access.

From day one, Natasha — who is a Social Worker by training —- has brought expertise, a positive can-do spirit, and a deep commitment to community and our collective mission to Empower a Generation of Well Black Women and families.

Natasha leads with purpose and compassion, and is appreciated for always stepping in to support wherever needed, and for the care and compassion she shows to her fellow team members. Her contributions are helping to strengthen our work and expand our impact in the communities we serve.

We are grateful to have Natasha on this journey with us and excited for all that lies ahead!

Happy Anniversary Natasha!

Today, we celebrate freedom. We celebrate the day when freedom reached those who had been denied it for far too long. We honor the ancestors who endured the unimaginable, yet continued to dream, build, lead and love.

We celebrate generations who transformed pain into purpose, barriers into breakthroughs and hope into action. Juneteenth is a living reminder that freedom is not only declared - it must be protected, expanded, and sustained for every generation to come.

May we continue to tell the stories, lift our voices, and walk boldly into our future!

Let your voice be heard! Come walk with us and our special guests in the Madison Juneteenth Parade, tomorrow, June 20, 2026, starting at The Labor Temple and concluding at Penn Park where the celebration will continue!

We extend a huge THANK YOU to Glass Nickel Pizza Co. (GNP) for helping fuel our staff and team of volunteers during move week!

As we work through this exciting (and busy!) process of moving into our new space, this generous donation has provided us the energy our team needed to keep going strong! This unexpected experience has truly taken a village, and we are incredibly grateful for community partners like GNP who show up for us in meaningful ways.

From all of us at The Foundation for Black Women's Wellness, THANK YOU for helping make this week a little easier, and a lot more delicious!
