“It is with heavy hearts that after a brief illness, we announce the passing of Luis Reyes, our beloved Business Manager and cherished friend.”
Mr. Reyes was far more than a guardian of our school’s financial health—he was a passionate advocate for Christian education, a dedicated team member, a steadfast supporter of our work-study program, and a source of boundless joy and encouragement on our campus.

During his time as Business Manager, Luis’s presence was always felt through his kindness, compassion, integrity, and contagious laughter. Having experienced the transformative power of Adventist education himself, he poured his heart into helping families navigate opportunities for support, empowering students to take initiative, and encouraging them to invest in their futures.

Luis considered it both an honor and a calling to serve God and his community. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with others, taking the time to engage with teachers, parents, and students of all ages. Teachers and students affectionately referred to him as their friend, knowing he was always ready with a smile to lend a helping hand or resolve a challenge with unwavering dedication.

While Luis took great pride in his work and valued his relationships, his greatest joy was his family. His wife, Nicole, and his daughters—Addison, Delany, and Harper—were the light of his life and his greatest joy.

Our friend will be greatly missed.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Luis’s life will be held on Sunday, January 26, at 11 a.m. at the Madison Campus Church.

15 years, countless flips, endless memories—our mats have supported generations of Acros athletes, but after years of wear and tear, it’s time for an upgrade. This , we’re asking for your support to help our team raise funds for new mats and equipment. Next year we celebrate 40 years of Acros at Madison Academy! What better way than to send them into the next 40 years than with new equipment! 🤸🤸‍♀️

These upgrades will not only ensure a safer environment for our athletes but also inspire future generations to pursue their passion for gymnastics. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Acros is more than gymnastics, it’s a ministry that impacts so many lives! Together, let’s build a stronger, safer foundation for the champions of tomorrow!
