Patriot Project

Hi everyone!

For those of you who have been involved with the Patriot Project in the past, myself along with Ethan Goede and Alex Boruch have been hard at work revamping the club and organizing events and fundraisers for the Spring semester so we can start off the second half of the academic year strong!

One of the big events that we are in the process of planning is a Blood Drive in which we will partner with the Red Cross to put on in April. In order to cement our time slot and move forward with planning, we need to log 30 names on an interest survey (which I have hyperlinked below), this IN NO WAY COMMITS YOU TO ANYTHING. It is just a sign up sheet that will help us gauge the interest level in the drive that will help us better plan resources and volunteers needed for the drive.

Thank you guys so much for your continued support of the organization and I can't wait to see all of you soon! Make sure to keep an eye on the page for upcoming info and events and feel free to email me with any questions!

Opening June 5 at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum will be a new exhibit titled, WAR:RAW Healing Military Trauma Through Expressive Art. I highly encourage you to check it out, as it is sure to be a fantastic and insightful display!

T-shirt sizes and orders will be taken at the meeting this Wednesday (tomorrow, 4/29) and they should be in by next week. T-shirts should cost $10.

Our next meeting will be tomorrow (April 29th) at 6:30pm in room 4011 Vilas. Please notify Alex if you are unable attend. We have received an offer to pair up with Team RWH (Red, White, Blue) which is a group in the local Madison community looking to help veterans. If you have any requests please bring them to the meeting!

Tonight at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, Bringing God to Men is bound to be a great discussion of military chaplains in the Vietnam War!! It starts at 7 pm and should end around 8! The lecture is located on the 2nd floor of the Veterans Museum.

Hey Patriot Project members!! Hope you all had a great Spring Break and are getting back into the swing of things smoothly. This is just a reminder to go along with the email that our next meeting will be next Wednesday, April 15 in 4011 Vilas at 6:30pm. Hopefully we can see all of you at this meeting, as we will be finalizing T-Shirts, finalizing semester plans, and forming committees. Also, Professor Hall has invited us to a screening of "Patton" on April 20th.
