100+ Women Who Care Madison

Every once in a while, I’ll be driving around Dane County and spot a familiar sign, building, vehicle, or billboard representing an organization that 100+ Women Who Care has had the privilege of supporting. More often than not, I stop to take a picture.

Those photos remind me that our giving doesn’t end on meeting night. It lives on in the organizations, programs, and people whose lives are better because of this incredible group of women.

Thank you for continuing to show up, give generously, spread the word, and make a lasting difference in our community. It is such an honor to serve as your president, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’re accomplishing together.

What an incredible evening of collective giving, connection, and community impact! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Quarter 2 meeting.

🎉 Congratulations to Girls on the Run South Central Wisconsin, our Quarter 2 Impact Award recipient! Thanks to your votes and generosity, Girls on the Run received our $10,000 Impact Award to help empower and inspire girls throughout our community.

👏 We also want to recognize CLIMB USA and Boys & Girls Club of Dane County for the outstanding work they are doing to strengthen lives across Dane County.

Through the generosity of our members, CLIMB USA will receive funding of more than $5,000 to support its important mission.

We also want to acknowledge the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County. Due to the sudden passing of their Executive Director, Michael Johnson, they were unable to present at our June meeting. Our thoughts continue to be with their staff, board, families, and the many young people whose lives have been touched by his leadership. We look forward to welcoming the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County back this fall to share more about their important work in our community.

Yes… you’re seeing this correctly! 👀 Since our meeting Monday night, nine incredible women have joined our giving circle! We are so excited to see our community of generous, passionate women continue to grow. The more voices we add, the more impact we can make together right here in our community.

What a beautiful evening for our 100+ Women Who Care – Madison gathering. The weather, the incredible setting at Hawk’s Landing, and the energy in the room made it such a special night.

We are excited to announce that Root 2 Rise was selected by our members as the recipient of this quarter’s collective gift. Their work is inspiring, and we are proud to support their mission.

And in true 100+ fashion, the generosity didn’t stop there. Thanks to the incredible women in this group, the other two presenting charities Root 2 Rise and Forward Learning Youth and Young Adults will also receive substantial gifts from our members.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, listened, and gave so generously.

This past Saturday night, 100+ Women Who Care – Madison was honored to receive the 2026 Do Good Wisconsin Nonprofit Impact Award.

This honor belongs to our entire organization. Every member. Every board member. Past and present.

For more than a decade, this circle has quietly and consistently changed lives right here in our community. Because when women come together with purpose, generosity, and heart, incredible things happen.

So proud. So grateful. And so excited to raise a toast together at our March 9th meeting. 🥂.
