The Goodman Aquatic Center will be open for Camp Shalom during camp hours this summer, but will not open for regular public evening or weekend swim during Summer 2026.

After continued recruitment and planning, we have not been able to hire the evening/weekend pool manager needed to safely and responsibly operate public swim hours.

We know this is disappointing news. The Goodman Aquatic Center means so much to our community, and this was not the outcome we were hoping for.

We are exploring the possibility of offering a small number of special community swim days later this summer, if staffing and operations allow. Dates are not confirmed yet, and we will share updates if we are able to move forward.

Unused day passes purchased during Summer 2025 will be honored through June 30, 2027.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

On Memorial Day, the Jewish Federation of Madison remembers the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom. We honor the Jewish veterans, in particular, and are grateful for their courage and commitment to the values we hold dear. May their memory be a blessing.

"What is a new blessing in your life?" This Shavuot, Rabbi Joshua Stanton explores the meaning of the "harvest" in our modern lives. Itโ€™s found in the fruits of our learning, the bridges we build, and the ways we inspire each other. As we receive the Torah anew, we find the "multitudes of good" that strengthen our global Jewish family.

Jewish American Heritage Month celebrates ALL of us, not just the well-known figures. While we honor trailblazers like Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Jonas Salk, there are millions of Jewish Americans who are living Jewish values every day.
