Three years later, we still carry the weight of that horrific day.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the strength of all those who endured unimaginable pain.

May we honor them by standing together and working toward a stronger, more peaceful future.

We remember. We stand with Israel. Am Yisrael Chai. 🕯️🇮🇱

There’s no better time to celebrate Jewish joy. 💙

As we mark Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, we’re reminded of the joy that comes from gathering together - to celebrate, to connect, to sing, to dance, and simply to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

That’s exactly what we experienced at Jewish Madison Together: A Jewish Joy Festival.
More than 500 people came together to fill the day with music, laughter, creativity, friendship, and so much joy. This video captures just a little of what made the day so special.

Wishing a Chag Sameach to you and your loved ones!

May we carry that joy with us - not just for a day, but throughout the year.

Chag Sukkot Sameach from Jewish Federation of Madison! 🌿

Sukkot invites us to step outside, gather with gratitude, and remember the beauty of community, hospitality, and shared joy.

As we celebrate this season, we are reminded that Jewish life is strengthened when we come together: welcoming guests, caring for one another, creating moments of connection, and building a community where everyone can feel at home.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful, meaningful, and beautiful Sukkot.

Chag Sameach and Shabbat Shalom, Jewish Madison!

As Yom Kippur begins, we enter a sacred time of reflection, honesty, humility, and hope.

It is a day that asks us to pause, look inward, and consider how we want to move through the year ahead: with more compassion, more intention, more courage, and more care for one another.

Here in Jewish Madison, we are grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for each other in moments of joy, challenge, repair, and renewal.

May this Yom Kippur bring meaning, healing, and strength to all who observe.

A new year is a chance to look around and ask: what kind of community do we want to build together?

A community where children feel proud of who they are.

Where students know they are not alone.

Where older adults are cared for with dignity.

Where Jewish spaces can stay open, welcoming, and strong.

Where Madison remains connected to Jewish communities in Israel, overseas, and around the world.

That future depends on all of us.

Your gift to Jewish Federation of Madison helps turn hope into action and shared responsibility into real support for the people and programs that strengthen Jewish life every day.

As we enter the High Holy Days and welcome a new year, we pause to reflect on what matters most: the people we love, the community we share, and the future we are building together.

Wishing you and your loved ones a sweet, healthy, and meaningful New Year.

Shanah Tovah and Shabbat Shalom!

We’re heading into a new Shabbat still thinking about the joy, warmth, and energy of last weekend’s Jewish Joy Festival. 💙

What a beautiful reminder of what makes Jewish Madison so special: families gathering, friends reconnecting, children laughing, music filling the air, and our community showing up together with pride, love, and so much ruach.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, participated, performed, sponsored, organized, and helped make the day so meaningful.

As we move from one weekend into the next, we are carrying that feeling with us: gratitude for this community, pride in Jewish life, and joy in being together.

Shabbat Shalom from Jewish Federation of Madison!

"As the High Holy Days draw closer, I am filled with gratitude for so many blessings in my life: community, friendship, family love, and a Jewish tradition that offers me grounding and spiritual guidance.

As I look around the world and close to home, I also hold sorrow and anger. Over the past year, immigration authorities..."
