The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (WDFI) and Lori Mann Carey Elementary School recently established their Adopt-a-School partnership, and WDFI has already been showing up for the school community.

WDFI collected a wide range of supplies—including snacks, hats and mittens, and even laundry detergent—to help Carey families start the year strong. The department also welcomed Carey Principal Percy Brown and his team during Welcome Back Week, providing meals and covering parking expenses for their visits.

Thank you to WDFI for making this new partnership one that puts community support into action! 💙

Creating a space where educators can come together, prepare and feel appreciated is a fantastic way to support our schools.

A huge thanks goes out to Atmosphere Commercial Interiors for welcoming Crestwood Elementary School staff during Welcome Back Week and treating them to lunch from as they prepared for the new school year. Crestwood Principal Kelly Lawler shared that the staff “could not have felt more welcomed or comfortable,” calling the experience “a wonderful” treat for educators.

We’re truly grateful to ACI for opening its doors and helping build a new Adopt-a-School partnership rooted in hospitality, connection and collaboration. 💙
