Three of the Troop 34 scouts working on the Citizenship in Commuity Merit Badge interviewed Senator Agard, a strong supporter of scouting and a mom of three Eagle Scouts! It was a great opportunity to learn about the work of legislators and to grow their knowledge of citizenship. Thank you, Senator! ⚜️

A great troop of Boy Scouts, Gus, George and Finn, came by the office as part of their efforts for a Merit badge, Citizenship in the Community. I always enjoy engaging with BSA troops as a mom of three (soon to be four) Eagle Scouts!

Scouts acquire invaluable skills and knowledge while working for their Merit badges, and they will carry these lessons into their future lives and careers. I am honored to be a part of this troop’s understanding of the role of government and the importance of citizen participation.
