Some very sad news to share about Jon Miskowski, PBS Wisconsin’s Emeritus Director of Television. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered as a champion for public media and an all-around amazing person. 💙

We are deeply saddened by the death of Jon Miskowski, PBS Wisconsin’s Emeritus Director of Television, who retired May 1.

We have a bittersweet announcement to share: PBS Wisconsin Director of Television, Jon Miskowski, has announced his retirement. What makes this moment especially meaningful is that his journey in public media began exactly where so many of yours did — as a volunteer.

Jon's vision and compassion has shaped who we are and how we serve. His belief in the power of volunteers has also shaped a community that lifts one another up every single day. We’re grateful for the path he’s walked and the example he leaves behind.

Please join us in celebrating Jon's legacy. His work will continue to ripple outward through every volunteer, every program, and every person we reach.

Thank you, Jon, for your leadership, dedication, and the legacy you leave us with. We'll miss you.💙
