Building a Legacy Together: Brindis del Éxito

The Hall of Wisconsin at the Park Hotel recently came alive for our Brindis del Éxito: Legacy gala. It was a powerful evening of connection, featuring a curated dinner of cultural flavors and an immersive live performance by Los Americanos.

The Future of Our Community: The Legacy Membership The heart of the evening was the official launch of the Legacy Membership. This initiative is designed for young adults ages 18–24 who are ready to take the next step in their professional lives.

We believe that while the rising cost of education can be a barrier, access to a professional network should not be. The Legacy Membership creates a direct career pipeline through:

Mentorship: Connecting young adults with established professionals who share their cultural backgrounds.

Skill-Building: Hosting workshops on professional communication and career exploration.

Direct Pathways: Bridging the gap to high-growth professional roles.

Join Us in Reaching Our Goal Our mission for 2026 is to raise $100,000 to fully fund our inaugural cohort of future leaders. An investment of $1,200 annually per participant ensures they have everything they need to succeed, from specialized workshops to transportation and food.

Your contribution helps ensure the next generation of leaders has the tools and the network to build their own legacy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for “How to Be a Board Member.”
We had an engaged group of new and aspiring leaders ready to learn what it means to serve on a nonprofit board.

Participants explored governance, core responsibilities, and how to decide if a board opportunity is the right fit. Everyone left with practical tools, a checklist, and more confidence in taking their next step.

A special thank you to Madison College for sponsoring the venue. We also appreciated the engagement from LUPPE, the staff employee resource group, and Mi Gente Unida, the student union. Your partnership helps strengthen community-centered leadership.
