My 4-H journey started when I joined the Milk & Money 4-H Club with a dairy heifer project. Francine, a Holstein heifer, was my first project but Tinkerbell (Guernsey pictured below) was my favorite....... Those early experience with 4-H instilled in me the idea of Hands to Larger Service......after graduation from Virginia Tech, I moved to Madison County and began volunteering with the local 4-H program.....the 4-H Agent position opened up and I took the chance to come back to my 4-H roots!

This National 4-H Week, we celebrate the volunteers who make a difference in the lives of young people across Virginia.
