Allis Community Gardens Our mission: (1) To promote the organic gardening; (2) To support the Allis School Garden

Allis Heritage Community Gardens was created in 2016, thanks to support from a City of Madison SEED Grant from the Madison Food Policy Council, and thanks to permission by the Madison School Board to use school grounds. Our mission is to promote the heritage of local, organic gardening, while supporting the Allis Elementary School Garden program.

How do you garden safely during Covid 19? With masks and careful distancing and a passion for growing flowers and plants! The Allis School Garden and the Allis Heritage Community Gardens are thriving! Thanks to Mary K, Mary Jane & Ron K, Sue S., Christel P & Therese L., Terez F and Jennifer F, Lori S., Larry O. Not captured in photos, but also amazingly helpful these last two weeks were Kirsten J., Tom L., Vica S. & Stella S., Linda A., & Joan F. Bravo to these amazing volunteers!

And a few more beauties. Including a possible project if I come across the wood for it — build new tables!
