No need to dress formally at class today. You’ll be given plenty of time to go back to hotels and change after class concludes today at 4pm.

Shuttles are running from Doubletree to Pyle Center five minutes away at 5:30 and again at 6pm.
You must attend graduation and dress up. No casual clothes at this.

You’re on your own after graduation so make dinner plans for your last night in Madison. This is going to be a fabulous experience for you.

Hey first years. If you run a YP program at your chamber amd want to dialogue with others in similar roles, meet at Doubletree lobby at 6 pm for an evening together.

Three other cheaper options for tonight. The previous four I recommended will range anywhere from $65-125 with drinks and appetizers. If you want burgers, pizza or a great WI feel, try these. So there—7 of Madison’s best. Enjoy Madison tonight. You are on your own.

Madison Market is a convenient grocery store really close to the Doubletree in case you need anything. Located on University Ave, they have good selection if you need to grab something on the way to or from clssses.

Wow. We’re now only 24 hours away from meeting each other. Tomorrow we’ll have registration and reception at nearby Fluno Center. Monday is a the longest day but it will be jam packed with great sessions. Monday evening after classes we’ll gather at a nearby historic venue for food and drinks. For those looking for an activity after dinner, you can try bull riding at a nearby bar.

Tuesday is a slightly shorter day and after classes you have a free evening to explore Madison. I recommend trying one of four upscale restaurants.
1. Sardines (seafood, Uber needed)
2. Portabella’s(Italian, two blocks from hotel)
3. Edgewater Hotel Boathouse(on Lake Mendota, Uber needed)
4. Tornado Steak House(walkable a block from State Capitol)

Wednesday is classes followed by graduation ceremonies at the Pyle Center overlooking Lake Mendota. Attendance is required (you’ll appreciate this when you graduate in front of hundreds of people.) This is a dress up event.

Madison is well known for some great restaurants. I’m going to give you some options for one of the nights (likely Tuesday June 4th) when you get a free evening to explore Madison. One of my favorites is Portabellas which is a short walk from hotel. If you like Italian food eating here is a must.
