RISE Wisconsin, Inc.

RISE Wisconsin, Inc. In Fall of 2016, Community Partnerships and Center for Families began discussions to explore a merger. Now our re-brand is in its final stage of implementation.

Our mission is to advance the wellness of children, individuals, and families by providing early childhood and mental health services to help community and family thrive. In April the merger was official, and in May our new name was revealed. We feel hopeful and excited about the path ahead as a larger organization, and feel humble and grateful to the individuals and organizations who have support

ed both agencies in the past and throughout the merger. As a merged organization, RISE will impact over 6,800 children, individuals, and families annually by providing early childhood education and home visiting, emergency respite, and mental health services to children through young adulthood. View the video on our home page to hear from those we serve about the impact of RISE services on their lives. http://risewisconsin.org/

On her birthday, we're remembering Roslyn Carter and her powerful reminder that caregiving is something that touches every one of our lives.

At RISE, we see every day just how deeply caregiving matters. Through our programs we support caregivers and the people who depend on them- and we are fortunate to work alongside people who bring extraordinary compassion, dedication, and care to all they do.

Because caregiving isn't someone else's issue. It is a part of being human. At some point each of us will give care, receive care, or both. To every caregiver- thank you. Thank you for the time, patience, empathy, strength, and love you give to others, often in ways that go unseen. The work you do is meaningful, essential, and worthy of recognition.

A huge thank you to United Way of Dane County and the wonderful Springs Window Fashions volunteers who created packages of toilet paper and paper towels for RISE and our participant families.

Paper products may not always be top of mind when we think about donations, but they're everyday essentials that make a real difference. We're so grateful for this thoughtful- and very useful- support!

ParentChild+ is enrolling new families!

ParentChild+ is an international program, and our RISE site is the only one in Wisconsin! Our Early Learning Specialists (ELS) support parents and caregivers in their role as their child's firs and most important teacher. They provide free high-quality, educational books and toys to families, and coach parents/caregivers on child development and how to turn everyday activities into rich learning opportunities through reading, play, and conversation. Families complete two 30-minute visits each week, and after 92 visits, graduate from our program ready to succeed in 4K and beyond!

Our eligibility guidelines are:
• Family lives in Dane County
• Family has a child that is at least 18 months but not yet 3 years old
• Self-reported family income is approximately 150% FPL (e.g. $49,500 for a family of 4), OR someone in the home receives public benefits, such as FoodShare, BadgerCare, or WIC

We're Hiring! Join the RISE Team.

Every family deserves someone in their corner. Could that be you? At RISE, we're looking for compassionate, relationship-driven professionals to join our team as Family Support Specialists (FSS) in our Early Childhood Initiative and Welcome Baby and Beyond programs.

As a Family Support Specialist, you'll build meaningful relationships with families, connect them with vital community resources, and help strengthen parent-child relationships while supporting the physical and emotional well-being of both children and caregivers. You'll play a key role in empowering families to reach their goals and thrive.

This is more than a job- it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families while working alongside a supportive team that's passionate about creating stronger communities.

We're hiring for multiple positions, with Family Support Specialist opportunities featured now!

When a community comes together, lives are changed. (And sometimes there's delicious breakfast!)

We're incredibly grateful to One Community Bank for serving as a presenting sponsor of our Breakfast for Nourishment fundraiser. Their commitment to our mission is more than a sponsorship- it's an investment in local families and children who can thrive with the right support.

The finds raised through this event help sustain our Respite Center, where families can access safe, compassionate emergency childcare and support when life becomes overwhelming. Whether a family is facing an unexpected crisis or simply going through a difficult season and needs a helping had, we're here to provide care, stability, and hope. Because of community partners like One Community Bank- and all of our generous supporters- we can continue ensuring families have somewhere to turn, no matter what challenges they're facing.

Join us on Thursday, September 10th, at The Tinsmith. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Purchase your tickets here: https://my.onecause.com/.../vevt:1f1f7a04-38ee.../home/story

A special thank you again to One Community Bank for leading the way and demonstrating what it means to invest in a stronger, more caring community.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Springs Window Fashions, RISE has beautiful new blinds! Their donation- and the volunteer team who gave their time to install the blinds- makes a meaningful difference throughout the RISE building.

Privacy is essential at RISE. From therapeutic services and sensitive meetings to the daily support we provide, we strive to create spaces where participants feel safe, comfortable, and respected. These new blinds throughout our building help us do just that.

In our Respite Center, the new motorized blinds are also making daily operations easier for our childcare staff. Instead of lowering each blind by hand, they can adjust one, several, or all of them with a remote, saving valuable time and allowing them to focus on caring for the children and families we serve.

We are so grateful to Springs Window Fashions for investing not only in our facility, but in the people who walk through our doors every day. Thank you!

Everyone deserves moments when the weight they're carrying doesn't have to be carried alone.

That's the spirit behind our Respite Center. We strive to create a place where families can find support- whether they are navigating everyday challenges, meeting essential needs, or simply need a little extra breathing room. It's one way we work toward stronger families, and stronger communities.
