✨ The recording is here!

If you missed our latest Faithful Voices in a Critical Hour webinar — A Study: From Sacred Texts to Civic Values — you can now watch the full recording!

This was a truly powerful conversation. Voices from the Bahá'í, The Church of Latter-day Saint, Baptist, Jewish, and Muslim faith traditions came together and what emerged was something beautiful — a shared call, rooted in each of our sacred texts, to be in community and in service to that community. A genuine call from our faiths to civic engagement for the betterment of everyone around us.

Because we all do better when all members of our community do better.

If you weren't able to join us live, we hope you'll take the time to watch. We don't think you'll be disappointed.

Happy Pride Month! June is the month when we celebrate LGBTQ+ pride and commemorate the contributions of this community. Pride celebrations became widespread after the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, a tipping point in the American Gay Liberation Movement. During this month every year, we celebrate those who have fought and are still fighting for equal rights, and we renew our commitment to the cause.

📣 Webinar Announcement | From Survivors' Stories to the Supreme Court: The Fight Against Conversion Therapy

The Supreme Court has ruled — and the fight to protect LGBTQ+ youth from conversion therapy is far from over.

Join Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice for a timely conversation with Lucas Wilson, postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto Mississauga and editor of Shame-Sex Attraction: Survivors' Stories of Conversion Therapy. Our Executive Director Matt Kendziera will sit down with Lucas to explore what the Supreme Court's recent ruling means, what survivors want us to know, and what people of faith are called to do next.

This is a conversation Wisconsin's faith communities need to have. We hope you'll be part of it.

Our Faithful Voices in a Critical Hour series continues — and we'd love for you to join us!

On June 1st at noon CT, we're gathering voices from the Bahá'í, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Baptist, Jewish, and Muslim faith traditions for a meaningful conversation about something that matters deeply: What do our sacred texts say about our responsibility to show up as citizens?

Faithful Voice in a Critical Hour: A Study – From Sacred Texts to Civic Values is an interfaith exploration of the connection between our beliefs and our civic lives. Each panelist will share how the writings and teachings of their tradition speak to voting, participation, and engaging in the life of our communities.

Whether you're rooted in faith or simply curious, we think you'll find this conversation both inspiring and grounding.

This evening begins the Muslim celebration of Eid-ul-Adha. It is the festival of sacrifice, and commemorates the biblical story in which Allah asks Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail. It may be celebrated by slaughtering an animal and sharing its meat with family, friends, and those in need.

We are excited to share our latest installment in our Interfaith Voices Podcast: "The Work We Do Together" featuring featuring Maggie Siddiqi, Senior Advisor at Interfaith Alliance. She joins our host Matt Kendziera to talk about what it means to build coalitions across lines of difference, advocate for religious freedom, stand up against hate, and do it together as a community.

Maggie brings a depth of experience to this conversation — from her work serving American Muslim communities, to leading faith and religion strategy at the Center for American Progress, to her appointment as Director of the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships in the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Education.
