Local veterans are invited to come and be recognized Monday, July 6. at Nelson Field in Dawson at 630 p.m. before the game at 7p.m. a free meal will be available. Veterans will be paired up with a player and will line up on the baseline together.

Madison VFW Post 1656 will be open on the 4th of July! We will be opening at 1pm. Specials include $2.00 Bush Light tap beers or buy a wrist band for $15.00 dollars and drink all day. We will have buckets of domestic beer for $20.00 or if you're hungry for $30.00 dollars you can get a bucket of domestic beer and a large pizza. There will be bean bags available to play or get some friends together and try bean bag baseball. We hope to see you as we celebrate Americas 250th birthday.
