๐ HAPPY NATIONAL COACHES DAY! ๐
MJF would like to recognize and celebrate all of our current and former football coaches today!
Our coaches volunteer countless hours teaching our youth players the fundamentals of the game, while instilling a love of football, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the values that help our players become better teammates and individuals.
One of the greatest examples of their impact can be seen in our younger coaching staff โ former MJF players who have come back to give back to the program that helped shape them. โค๏ธ๐
To all of our coaches, past and present: THANK YOU! We appreciate your time, dedication, leadership, and everything you do for Madison Jr. Football! ๐
They donโt get paid.
They donโt get bonuses.
They donโt get trophies for dedication.
They donโt get headlines.
What they do getโฆ
Is rain on a Tuesday night.
Early Saturday/Sunday alarms.
Mud on their white sneakers.
And responsibility for other peopleโs children.
They give up evenings with their own families
to help yours.
They finish workโฆ
and start coaching.
They miss meals.
They sacrifice weekends.
They will spend their own money on equipment.
They plan sessions late at night
when nobodyโs watching.
They donโt do it for money.
They donโt do it for praise.
They do it because a child smiling,
improving,
growing in confidenceโฆ
Itโs worth more than any pay check.
Volunteer coaches are the real heartbeat of football.
Without them โ there is no game. ๐
