THE PHOENIX 5K!

I have friends everywhere...

Celebrating the anniversary of Fanthropy Running Club, we're thrilled to announce our newest event: The Phoenix 5k! All registrants will receive an awesome 3" two-sided medal featuring a "Rebel Phoenix" and a dye-sublimated ribbon. You can complete your mileage any where and any way you want and everything is on the honor system so no proof of completion is required. The medals have already been ordered and we will set a cut-off date for registrations that, if you register before that date, will hopefully get you your medal before September 1st (Phoenix Day) so you can earn and wear your medal on that day. Registration will stay open through Phoenix Day and then any excess medals will be moved to the Fanthropy Back Catalog the following week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FANTHROPY!

Over the past 12 years what started as a simple post announcing our first virtual running event went with a goal to raise $500 for pediatric cancer research has grown into a community of Fanthropists who have logged over 30 million miles and donated over $2.6 million to more than 200 hundred direct-impact charities around the world!

Today, we celebrate 12 years of community, fandom, fitness, and philanthropy. We invite you to join us in the FRC Fan Domain for a day of memories, celebrations, and, of course, plenty of shenanigans!

Fanthropy continued it's amazing journey of with an incredible 2025! This year saw us focus on some critical areas in need of support especially the California wildfires and other disaster relief efforts. We also had a big focus on reading as we raised funds for numerous literacy charities and donated more than 1,900 books to hundreds of Little Free Libraries all over the world as part of this summer's Direct Impact Project!

We partnered once again with Charity Events at Dragon Con for the Dragon Con Hustle: Rebel 5k raising over $17,000 for NAMI Georgia!

Finally, and most importantly, our 74 Racery teams in Battle of the Fandoms and Fanthropy Rumbles...along with194 individual runners participating in Fans Run the World...logged over 168,000 miles as part of their physical fitness journey!

We look forward to 2026 and hope you'll continue to engage with our amazing community in the FRC Fan Domain! Bring on 2026!!

FANS RUN THE WORLD 2026!!!

For the sixth time, the Fanthropists are going on another 365-mile adventure! This time we're going to be running, walking, and arm-powered rolling through the Land of Fire and Ice...Iceland!!
