Happy I Love My Dentist Day! π¦·π
Today, we are celebrating the dentists who make compassionate, life-changing care possible at Mercy Dental Missions.
We are so grateful for Dr. Kepler, Dr. Stevens, and our wonderful volunteer dentist Dr. OβBrien and volunteer oral surgeon Dr. Ebben, who generously share their time, skill, and hearts with the patients we serve.
Dentistry is such meaningful work. Behind every appointment is years of education, careful training, steady hands, thoughtful problem-solving, and a deep commitment to helping people feel better. Dentists donβt just treat teeth, they help relieve pain, prevent infection, restore function, rebuild confidence, and support a personβs overall health.
For many patients, dental care can feel overwhelming. Some come in after months or many years of pain. Some feel nervous because of past experiences. Some worry about cost or feel unsure of where to turn. That is why the kindness, patience, and compassion of a dentist matters so much.
We love our dentists because they see the whole person behind the smile. They take time to listen, explain treatment, answer questions, calm fears, and provide care with dignity and respect. Their work requires knowledge and precision, but also empathy, humility, and heart.
To our dentists and volunteer dentists: thank you for the hard work you put in each day. Thank you for using your gifts to serve others, for meeting patients with compassion, and for helping bring healing and hope to our community.
And to our patients, thank you for trusting us with your care. Your smiles, stories, and courage remind us why this mission matters.
We are so blessed to serve this community and we are so grateful for the dentists who make this care possible. π
