Andrew T. Wallen Memorial Education Foundation 501(c)(3) Education Foundation We understand this has broad implications, and support the diversity of people and resources necessary to carry out this mission.

We believe in building a community of scholars, artists, and people who will continually strive to improve their corner of the world - not through the pure creation of wealth and technology - but through improving the health of the planet and society with revolutionary, but yet implementable, ideas through all disciplines.

The ATWMEF granted a micro loan to the Forward Institute to fund a new education study. The public release of the study took place in Milwaukee on May 15, and received statewide media coverage. The study concluded that the current education funding and delivery system in Wisconsin is probably unconstitutional, because children in poverty are not receiving an equal educational opportunity because of the state funding formula. The study also presented new information about the Milwaukee voucher program and student outcome. A synopsis can be found here: http://forwardinstitutewi.org/2013/05/15/wisconsin-budget-policy-and-poverty-in-education/
