MNF is proud to announce the two recipients of the $500 Oneita Dongieux Award for Excellence for 2026! Congratulations to Dylan Brown, nursing student at the Mississippi University for Women, and Katherine Smith, nursing student at Jones College.

Congratulations to the 2026 recipient of the $1000 Martha Douglas Memorial Scholarship, Racolesha Denson! Racolesha is a nursing student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The scholarship is funded by the Mississippi School Nurse Association.

Calling all school nurses! We still have a few spots open for the March training session. This is a fantastic opportunity to prep for the national exam. Not only do these trainers have years of school nurse experience, they have been trained by school nurse author, Dr. Janice Selekman. All sessions will be held on MC's campus in Cockroft Hall.
