Thank you to everyone who joined us at Charis Classical Academy for our Christian Business Mixer this past week!

It was a joy to bring together Christian business owners and entrepreneurs from our community for an evening of fellowship, meaningful connections, and thoughtful conversation with two local Christian leaders.

We’re grateful for the time, wisdom, and encouragement shared, and for the opportunity to introduce more of our community to the mission and educational model of Charis.

Interested in learning more about Charis or partnering with us to support Christian education? Visit https://charisclassical.com/partners to learn how you can be part of what God is doing through our school.

Thank you for being part of the evening. We look forward to gathering again in Spring 2027!

What is the House System at Charis Classical Academy? 🛡️

Our House System is one of the ways we build community across the upper school. Students in grades 5–12 are placed into one of six Houses, bringing older and younger students together to form relationships, encourage one another, and grow in faith, character, and servant leadership.

For our new 5th graders, becoming part of a House begins with a special Sorting Ceremony - an exciting introduction to the House they’ll be part of throughout their years at Charis.

Rooted in Philippians 2:2–8, the House System is designed to cultivate a community of discipleship, service, and servant leadership. House life includes fellowship and discipleship, friendly competition, service projects, school spirit, and opportunities for students to grow as leaders.

Our six Houses are named for heroes of the faith who exemplified godly virtues, character, and leadership.

Throughout the year, students learn, serve, compete, celebrate, and grow together as a House. At its heart, the House System is about creating a stronger school community and helping students learn what it means to put others before themselves and lead by serving.

Local business owners and entrepreneurs, we’d love to have you join us at Charis!

On Thursday, October 15 from 4:45–5:45 p.m., we’re gathering for a simple, warm evening with light refreshments served by our students, conversation, and a chance to learn more about the vision behind Charis Classical Academy.

Two Christian leaders will share why preparing the next generation for both the marketplace and the public square matters. We’ll also introduce the heart of classical education and the vision of our school.

This evening will also launch our new Charis Cornerstone Partners program, an opportunity for local business leaders to walk alongside Charis and invest in the next generation.

Come a few minutes early or stay afterward to tour the building, meet our staff, and connect with other local business leaders.

We’d love to see you there! RSVP and find more information here: https://givingtools.com/give/287/6054

This year at Charis, we’re exploring what it means to live The Good Life God has designed for us. A life shaped by His truth, rooted in His Word, and centered on knowing and loving Him. 🌿

What we behold shapes who we become. What we give our attention to forms our desires. What we love directs our lives.

This year, we’re inviting our students to look up, look to Christ, and discover the goodness of the life He has called them to live. We can't wait to explore this theme with our students and staff. Here’s to a year of learning to behold what is truly good!

‘Twas the night before school,
And all through the house,
Uniforms were laid out - ironed pants and pressed blouse.
The backpacks and lunchboxes were packed with care,
And the smell of new school supplies hung in the air.

New friends to meet, new lessons to learn,
New ways to grow as the seasons turn.
With faith as their foundation and Christ as their guide,
Our students are ready to step through those doors with pride.

So here’s to a year of learning and grace,
Of growing in wisdom, in every place.
With curious minds and hearts that care -
Charis students (and parents), your first day is almost here! ❤️

As staff was in the building preparing for another school year, a beautiful rainbow appeared right over Charis. What a beautiful reminder of the covenant He made with us, that our hope is not in circumstances, but in the God who keeps His promises!

“Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant…” Genesis 9:16

We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer break! Know that we are praying for our students and families and look forward to welcoming everyone back to CCA for another year of learning, growth, and fellowship 🌈
