Madison Eastside Sharks football program is operated by the Dane County YMCA East and the track program has come to an end.

Equipment Fitting, Sunday, May 6
Eastside YMCA Sharks Youth Football
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
YMCA East

This fitting will be important to the program as we plan on ordering some new equipment for this season (mainly helmets). This will allow the program to go through current inventory and see what we have versus what we need. It will also help us place an accurate order.

In addition to getting fitted for equipment,families can complete their registration if they have not done so. We will have staff available at the YMCA front desk to register players and answer any questions.

Eastside Sharks football program is now partnered with the East YMCA!

Registration will open on Monday, April 16, 2018.

Registration is a 2 step process:

Step 1 - register with payment through the East YMCA at www.ymcadanecounty.org or in person.

Step 2 - register your player through Blue Sombrero at sports.bluesombrero.com/eastsidesharks for all required DCAYFL paperwork

The team will still be in the Dane County Area Youth Football League and sport the teal & orange! Coaches and Class Reps will remain with their teams.

***Equipment Turn-In is This Week***

Tuesday, October 24th, 6-7:30 pm, Shed
4th, 6th & 8th grades

Wednesday, October 25th, 6 - 7:30 pm, Shed
5th & 7th grades​

• Pants, game jersey & practice jersey should be washed
• Pads should be wiped down
• Helmets & shoulder pads should be wiped down (4-7 grade players should write their first & last name on a piece of masking tape and place it on their helmet)
• Pants, pads & jerseys should be placed in a brown paper bag with the player's name should be on it
• 4-7th graders should place a piece of masking tape with their name on it on their helmet

Talking to the boys following the game, you would know the loss was not due to a lack of effort -they were exhausted. The score did not represent how these boys battled. Middleton better not look past this team next week.
