See you in the new year!

Every year PATCH proudly closes the office and offers the entire staff two weeks paid time off during the holiday season for rest and rejuvenation. We hope during this season that you also find joy, comfort, connection, and so much more!

Things will be quiet while we're out, but we're excited to return to work on January 5th with new energy and enthusiasm.

In October 2010 our FIRST ever group of Teen Educators was hired & trained as WAHCCP (the Wisconsin Adolescent Health Care Project)! Many still show up to PATCH events today as donors, support team members, guest speakers, and so much more! We owe a LOT to this first group for getting us started and helping us learn and grow from day 1!

📢 Milwaukee area families! 📢

PATCH is hosting another Parent/Teen Workshop Combo on October 7th at 5pm! This free event is designed just for teens and their caregivers where both groups can learn and grow in separate, age-appropriate sessions.

🙋🏽 For teens (ages 14-19): Milwaukee Teen Educators will facilitate the PATCH for Teens Workshop, creating space for young people to learn about and discuss ways to take charge and advocate for themselves when it comes to their health.

👩🏾‍🤝‍👨🏽 For parents & caregivers: At the same time, PATCH Champion, Mona, will lead the PATCH for Parents session, sharing tools and strategies to help you support your teen as they transition from adolescence into adulthood.

Check out the 2025-2026 team!✨

We know their intro is a little late - but between family trips, school starting, and navigating multiple schedules, we wanted to make sure we celebrated the whole team together!

Green Bay wrapped up their training in August and jumped right into action with a Peer Workshop! Their first Enrichment meeting followed shortly after, where Green Bay Coordinator, Kendra, shared: "We welcomed our first guest speaker, Alyssa Lentz! Alyssa shared her journey into photography and how she uses her craft to celebrate and uplift the q***r community. Her openness, creativity, and authenticity set the tone for a powerful start to the year."

Wow! Way to go, GB PATCHies! What a great kickoff to the year! 👏
