Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin, Inc. WI DATCP Licensed Rescue #281765 501c3 We are a pet rescue which takes animals from shelters so the animals are safe when shelter space runs out.
(327)

We are an all-breed companion animal rescue and affordable vet clinic in Madison, Wisconsin.

📧 EMAIL us at [email protected] with all questions to reach us directly! We place animals in our volunteer foster homes so they can get all they need while they await their forever homes. Animals do not reside at our office or clinic; they live in our volunteer foster homes. We offer full-service, non emergency veterinary care Monday-Friday. We provide spays, neuters, dental care, and other surgical services for cats and dogs. We also offer wellness health services (annual exams, vaccines, blood work, microchips, etc). Our clinic sees our Underdog animals, and is also open to the public. We offer lower-cost spay/neuter services to everyone, but help with other health services on a sliding scale basis. Email us at [email protected] to make an appointment for veterinary services.

🧡🐾 Jack is looking for his Jill! (Or his next Colby 😉)

This handsome orange and white little guy is Jack, and he's got a pretty important question… where's his happily ever after?!

You see, Jack's brother Colby has already found his forever home, and now it's Jack's turn to find someone to call his very own!

Jack is an adorable little kitten with all the fun, curiosity, and silly antics that come with being a baby feline. Whether it's playtime, exploring, or just being ridiculously cute, he's ready to make himself right at home.

So while Colby is off living his best life, Jack is hoping his special someone is out there scrolling right now. 🥹

Could you be the Jill to his Jack? Or better yet, the family that makes his story complete? 🧡

Help us get this handsome boy his happily ever after! 🐾

We have some very cute content after this weekend full of for our foster animals! ❤️

The first couple days in WI our foster animals are decompressing and starting to get a taste of what life in a home is like. For some they are already comfortable and for others it will be a more patient journey 🥰

Regardless, we can’t wait for these kiddos to all find their forever families! Want to be a part of the magic, apply to foster today! 🐾

🚐🐾 7 DOGS. 3 CATS. 10 FRESH STARTS!

It's TRANSPORT DAY at Underdog, and you know what that means… more adorable faces, more wagging tails, more happy purrs, and a whole lot of new beginnings! ❤️

Today we welcomed 7 dogs and 3 cats into the Underdog family, and we couldn't be happier!

We LOVE to see it, and we want to see MORE of it!

Because every animal that makes the journey to Underdog represents so much more than just a spot on a transport van. It's a second chance. A fresh start. An opportunity to leave the past behind and find a family to call their very own.

And behind every one of these sweet faces is a whole team of people who helped make today possible. From our incredible rescue partners who pour their hearts into these animals, to our transport drivers, volunteers, and foster families who help make the magic happen. We couldn't do this without you!

Now comes our favorite part… watching these 10 new Underdogs settle in, show off their personalities, and eventually find the forever homes they've been waiting for. 🥹

10 new arrivals today. Countless more waiting for their chance.

Here's to keeping those wheels turning, those second chances coming, and those happy endings rolling in!

Welcome to Wisconsin, little Underdogs! Your next chapter starts NOW! ❤️🐾

October is National Pet Wellness Month! 🐶🐱🏥

A yearly checkup is one of the absolute best things you can do for your furry family members, and this is the purr-fect excuse to get yours on the books with our clinic.

Pets age much faster than we do, so skipping a year is like skipping several of your own checkups! Regular exams help catch problems before they start.

Our vet team is here to help! Shoot an email to [email protected] to schedule a visit! 💛

Easy, Breezy, beautiful 😍

This girlie is 2 years old and an absolute joy to be around! While she can be a bit shy at first (slipping away from chaos) she is the biggest love bug once she trusts you ❤️

Breezy needs a home ready to take things slow, show her alllll the love, and always have an empty lap waiting for her 🥰

Breezy is a great companion. She’s polite with people and dogs, and she's truly EXCELLENT and very gentle with kids. She runs and plays hard at the park but will also snuggle up on the couch for a calm evening at home. 🐾
